PROJECT NO. 1

PROJECT FOR:  Learning about the Solar System.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Chart paper

2. Pencil

3. Eraser

4. Sketch pens and Crayons

5. Scissor

6. Glue

7.    Scrap Book

METHOD:  Cut out the chart paper to the size of your scrap book. Draw the solar system in the chart paper and colour it. The planets of the solar system are (in order of distance from the sun) Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune. Paste the Solar system in the scrap book.

HINTS:  You can refer to your book to draw the solar system.

Use your sketch pens and crayons to fill in the labels to make your project look more attractive.

WARNING: Parents supervision is required.

PROJECT NO. 2

PROJECT FOR: Learning about different types of Festivals.

REQUIREMENTS: 

1. Festivals pictures cut out from old books or Festival chart paper.

2. Glue

3. Sketch pens

4. Scissor

5.    Scrap Book

METHOD:  In your Scrap Book make three columns for each festival

1.    National Festivals

2.   Religious Festivals 

3.    Harvest Festivals 

Paste three cutouts for each festival and label them.

HINTS: National Festivals: Independence Day, Republic Day, Gandhi Jayanti.

Religious Festival: Diwali, Christmas, Guruparab.

Harvest Festival: Onam, Pongal, Bihu.

Use your sketch pens to fill in the labels to make your project look more attractive.
