PROJECT NO. 1

PROJECT FOR:  A better understanding of different types of birds.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Cut out pictures of birds from old books or bird chart paper.

2. Glue

3. Sketch pens

4. Scissor 

5.    Scrap Book

METHOD:  In your Scrap Book make columns for each bird and paste two cutouts for each and label them

1.    Perching birds

2.    Preying birds

3.    Climbing birds

4.    Aquatic birds 

5.    Scratching birds

HINTS: Check page no. 46 to 48 in your General Science Text book.

Perching birds: 

1.    Crow

2.    Sparrow

Preying birds: 

1.    Eagle

2.    Hawk

Climbing bird:

1.    Woodpecker

2.    Parrot

Aquatic birds: 

1.    Duck

2.    Swan

Scratching birds: 

1.    Hen

2.    Cock

You can also draw and colour the picture if you can’t find them in any book.

Use your sketch pens to fill in the labels to make your project look more attractive.

PROJECT FOR: Understanding the Life cycle of a Butterfly.

REQUIREMENTS: 

1. Chart paper

2. Pencil

3. Eraser

4. Sketch pens and Crayons

5. Glue

6. Scissor

7.    Scrap Book

METHOD:  Draw and colour the life cycle of a Butterfly in a chart paper and label it. Paste the cutouts in your scrap book.

HINTS: Use the sketch pens to fill in the labels to make your project look more attractive.
