PROJECT NO. 1PROJECT FOR: Understanding Roman Numerals 1, 5, 10, 50, 100, 500, 1000.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Alphabet cutouts from old nursery books or alphabets chart.
2. Glue
3. Sketch pens
4. Scissor
5. Scrap Book
METHOD: In your Scrap Book paste the cutouts of numbers 1, 5, 10, 50, 100, 500 and 1000 under each other, neatly. Now, paste the cutouts of the alphabets (I, V, X, L, C, D, M) in front of the number. For example V = 5.
HINTS: Check page no. 135 in your Mathematics Text book for a better idea. You can also draw and colour the alphabets if you can’t find them in any book. Use your sketch pens to fill in the labels to make your project look more attractive.
WARNING: Parents supervision is required.
PROJECT NO. 2
PROJECT FOR: Understanding Geometrical figures.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Chart paper
2. Pencil
3. Eraser
4. Sketch pens
5. Glue
6. Scissor
7. Scrap Book
METHOD: Draw and colour any five Geometrical figures (eg: Square, Rectangle, Triangle, Cone, Cylinder or Circle) in a chart paper and colour it. Paste the cut out of Geo figures in the scrap book.
HINTS: Use your sketch pens to fill in the labels to make your project look more attractive.
